The VB Cricket Academy, established in 1997 by VB Chandrasekhar, the flamboyant former India Opening batsman and National Selector, is now the premier cricket coaching facility  in India for 6-19 year olds. Based in Chennai, the academy operates out of the Mylapore Club, Guru Nanak College and ‘The Nest’.

The Nest is a full fledged, lush green cricket ground in Kelambakkam....

The Basic Coaching program is targeted at 6-13 year olds and focuses on skill and confidence development. This is a morning / evening program and is available at Mylapore Club / Guru Nanak College.

The Advanced Coaching program is targeted at 12-19 year olds.
It includes match simulation and tournament practice. The programis conducted under lights at the Mylapore Club and at the Nest.
